Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting news eu parliament place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary featured a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.

During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
